It feels peaceful to sit with a piece of paper and a pencil, no digital distraction, sometimes a reference in a book or magazine. Or just my eyes roaming the immediate environment and drawing the thing that grabs my attention there and then. After all these years of graphic design I’m rediscovering that simple pleasure or also frustration but it feels good to go there without pressure.
